Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Christian Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will use the Abeka Curriculum engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of preschool children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, social skills, and emotional well-being and helping them learn to walk with God. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate Abeka curriculum that promotes Bible, literacy, math, science, arts and crafts, social-emotional skills, and physical development. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, learning, and structured routines.. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports. Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respect, cooperation, and social skills among students. Requirements Regular attendance in a Christ centered church. Clean background check Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Strong skills in lesson planning, and classroom management. Certification in first aid and CPR Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
