Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for one-year-olds. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among young children. Engage children in activities that promote literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math skills tailored to their developmental stages. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about each child's progress and developmental milestones. Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences in a nurturing setting. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention practices, and special education needs related to toddlers. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to organize lesson plans that include physical education, literacy activities, and basic numeracy exercises. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in early childhood education. Certification or training in early childhood education or childcare is desirable; Montessori certification is a plus. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners and tutoring techniques for young children's academic growth. Passion for child welfare, daycare best practices, and creating inclusive learning environments that support diverse needs.
