Child care Teacher/floater

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher 2's and 3's class to join our childcare center. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 0-5. This role involves planning developmentally appropriate lessons and partnering with families to support each child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support early childhood development. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, curiosity, and positive values. Supervise, mentor, and support other teachers and classroom staff. Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and families regarding children's progress and classroom updates. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental milestones and behavior. Ensure compliance with all state and center policies, including safety, health, and educational standards.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 12-18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college/university. At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 0-5. Current Physical and TB test (within the last 12 months). Clean and current Criminal Background Check through DCDEE. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
