Childcare Teacher for 2s and 3s

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction across various classrooms, ensuring a positive learning environment for students of all ages. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering student development. The Substitute Teacher will support classroom activities, implement lesson plans, and manage student behavior to promote effective learning experiences. Responsibilities Deliver lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction. Develop and adapt curriculum materials as needed to meet diverse student needs. Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment. Engage students in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Foster inclusive classroom environments, including experience working with children with autism or special education needs. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Support early childhood education principles and Montessori or preschool methodologies when applicable. Assist with tutoring or additional instructional support in subjects such as literacy education or math. Maintain classroom organization and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Experience Prior classroom experience in preschool, elementary, or special education settings is preferred. Experience working with children of various developmental stages, including early childhood education and childhood development. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional best practices. Experience working with students with autism or in private school environments is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families. Background in tutoring or specialized education areas such as literacy education, math, or Montessori methods is advantageous.
