Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. As a Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enriching environment for children by providing flexible support across multiple classrooms and age groups. Your enthusiasm and adaptability will help create a nurturing space where children can thrive, learn, and grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a positive impact on young learners' lives. Responsibilities Support various classrooms by assisting teachers with daily activities, lesson implementation, and classroom management Engage with children in age-appropriate activities, promoting development in areas such as social skills, language, and motor coordination Ensure the safety and well-being of children through attentive supervision and adherence to safety protocols Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines for infants and toddlers as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with team members to implement individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Support the overall operation of the daycare by helping with administrative tasks and maintaining communication with parents Skills Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies Familiarity with classroom management techniques and caregiving routines for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with children confidently First aid certification is preferred; CPR certification is a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous

Up to $14.50 per hour
