In this vital role, you will support the center's strategic vision, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with licensing standards. Responsibilities Assist the Director in managing daily center operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Lead curriculum development initiatives to promote innovative and age-appropriate learning experiences. Supervise teaching staff and classroom activities, providing mentorship and performance feedback. Oversee budgeting processes, including resource allocation and expense tracking to maintain fiscal health. Coordinate fundraising efforts to support program enhancements and facility improvements. Develop strategic plans for program growth, community engagement, and staff development. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies. Represent the center at community events, fostering positive relationships with families and stakeholders. Qualifications Proven experience in education administration or management within a childcare or early childhood setting. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom teaching, and working directly with young children. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for public speaking, staff training, and community outreach. Competency in strategic planning, budgeting, and fundraising activities to support program sustainability. Familiarity with licensing requirements and regulations related to childcare centers. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
