    Fulltime| Monday
  • Friday 9:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM or 9:30 AM

Join our team at Novant Health as a Child Care Teacher Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting classroom activities and ensuring a warm, safe, and engaging learning experience for every child.
What We're Looking For:
Education :
High School or GED, required. Credentials EDU 119 or equivalency as defined by DHHS Education Workforce, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NC CDL License, preferred. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
ITS SIDS
within 2 months of hire, required. BSAC (Basic School Age) for those working with school age children, required. DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background letter, required. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children. Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): The ability to work a variety of work schedules and to work effectively in all classrooms within the centers. Implement daily classroom activities and routines. Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Support the center's goals, guidelines, and standards of excellence.
