Qualifications Education:

B.S. or B.A. in Early Childhood, or related field with minimum one year experience in child care OR AA in Early Childhood with minimum of one year experience in child care

OR NCCC I & II

with minimum of two year experience in child care

Physically able to preform job of teaching young children Love of children Patience Flexibility Maturity Honesty & Integrity Reliability & Professionalism Responsibilities Plan and implement an effective age and developmentally appropriate program to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child. Ensure that daily routines are carried out in a healthy and safe manner. Maintain constant supervision of children. Operate classroom in compliance with all childcare regulations and licensing standards. Create a pleasant, neat and inviting classroom atmosphere where children will feel comfortable and secure. Provide parents adequate information about their child's experiences in your class through daily contact and regularly scheduled parent conferences. Maintain written records designed to evaluate each child. Participate in staff meetings, as well as all center events and in-service training. Model appropriate behavior at all times. Meet and maintain requirements of N.C. Day Care Licensing Board i.e.: training, medical, educational

Pay:

$14.25 per hour Application Question(s): Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam and TB test.
