Childcare Providers, Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher - Experienced in Preschool, Day care, Childcare

Kids & Company is searching for Lead Childcare Teachers for our Wilmington, NC locations. Full-time and part-time positions available for Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age classrooms. Our ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, creative, nurturing, and pays close attention to detail. Previous experience in licensed childcare/preschool is required. NC Early Childhood Credentials required.

Responsibilities include:

Providing a safe, nurturing environment while fostering each child's emotional, cognitive, and social development. Developing and adhering to approved lesson plans and activities Maintaining a daily record for each child based on requirements for that specific age group, recording attendance and meal counts, and additional documentation as needed Assisting children as needed with meals and snacks, toileting, hygiene, and other basic care needs Recognizing and supporting individual developmental and emotional needs Maintaining compliance with all center, state, local, and federal requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

Maintain current First Aid & CPR certification Minimal absences or tardies from agreed upon shifts. Obtain and keep current all center, state, and federal training classes and/or professional development hours Team Oriented, flexible, and able to easily adapt to changes in daily conditions or circumstances.
