In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster infants' growth and curiosity. Your leadership will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where young children can thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will serve as a role model for fellow staff members and build strong relationships with families to support each child's unique journey. Duties Plan and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' individual needs, interests, and milestones Supervise and support classroom staff to ensure high-quality infant care and education standards are maintained Foster a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that promotes exploration and learning through play Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and health regulations Observe and assess each infant's developmental progress to inform personalized care plans Manage classroom routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and professionalism Qualifications Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting; preschool or toddler care experience is a plus Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child safety protocols required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Classroom management skills to create an organized, nurturing environment that encourages positive behavior management Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and compliance standards in early childhood settings Passion for teaching young children and supporting their early developmental milestones Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest learners!
