Preschool Music Teacher (Mon-Weds)

Reynolda Preschool Job Description Vision Statement :

To provide a joyful and educational experience in Music for children at Reynolda Preschool.

Reports to:

Special Area Teachers report to the Director of Reynolda Preschool and are under the authority of the Session of Reynolda Church. Duties and Responsibilities Plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities based on developmentally appropriate practices. Assure the health, safety, and well-being of children through constant supervision while in care Respond to children's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with love, patience, grace, and professionalism Communicate with Lead Teachers about curriculum, students, and classroom issues Organize and maintain materials specific to area of expertise Attend staff meetings and special events as outlined in the Staff Calendar Fulfill professional development and training requirements Uphold church and Reynolda Preschool policies Work with colleagues to create an effective, professional school atmosphere Participate in carpool and other duties as assigned by the Director Maintain communication with the Director Help plan and implement Chapel celebrations and school wide celebrations With the Director plan and implement the Christmas Sing Along and Family Celebration/Graduation.

Hours of Responsibility:

8:45am-12:15pm (on specified days), with additional time allotted for planning
