Job Description

Little People's World LLC is seeking two dependable, caring, and experienced Lead Preschool Teachers for our 3-year-old classrooms: Sunset Sailors and Little Ducklings. The ideal candidates will be nurturing, organized, reliable, and confident leading a classroom. Lead Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment while providing consistent care and supervision for every child.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and daily activities Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and organized classroom Provide active supervision and maintain required child-to-staff ratios Follow the classroom schedule and establish consistent routines Accurately document attendance, meals, diapering/toileting, naps, activities, and incidents Support children with potty training, social-emotional development, and positive behavior guidance Communicate professionally with parents, families, coworkers, and management Complete classroom cleaning and sanitation responsibilities Work cooperatively with assistant teachers and provide clear classroom direction Follow all Little People's World policies and North Dakota childcare licensing requirements Attend required staff meetings and training Report safety, behavioral, or developmental concerns to management promptly
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool is strongly preferred Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience is preferred Must meet or be willing to complete North Dakota requirements for the position Must pass all required background checks Must be willing to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification Must be dependable and maintain consistent attendance Must be able to communicate professionally and work as part of a team Must be patient, attentive, nurturing, and comfortable working with 3-year-old children Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties required in a childcare classroom
Schedule:
Full-time position Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm No weekends Little People's World is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; the assigned shift will be discussed during the interview
Compensation:
Starting at $17.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience We are looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy helping young children learn and grow.
