Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. This role requires a strong foundation in childhood development, literacy education, and curriculum development to effectively engage students in their learning journey. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Educate students in foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and physical education. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional methods and engage students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Create a safe and supportive atmosphere for children to explore and learn. Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends. Requirements CDA preferred, but not required. Experience in a similar role a plus. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum development, and proofreading educational materials. Ability to integrate technology into the classroom effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A nurturing attitude towards children with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Certification in CPR/First Aid is required to be obtained within the first 90 days.
