Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, activity facilitation, and behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare and incident reports. Incorporate specialized educational techniques such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies to meet diverse learner needs. Support children's emotional well-being by fostering positive behavior management and conflict resolution skills. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of child development principles and childhood education best practices. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development and standardized testing when appropriate. Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood welfare or physical education are a plus.
