Job Description

About us Sky High Learning Center is a small business in Beatrice, NE. Our goal is to incorporate a clean, safe and nurturing childcare center for families in the community .
Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:
  • Follow a daily schedule based on age group of children
  • Follow weekly lesson plans for classroom children
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of children.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, and adminstrative staff to ensure a positive atmosphere and environment is established for all children.
  • Use effective strategies to become diverse in the ways to assit children with learning needs and disabilities.
  • Monitor childrens needs/progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians of enrolled children and also log information on an app.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is a requirement
  • Experience working with children preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to become pediatric CPR/1st Aide Certified.
  • Complete background/fingerprint checks
