Company Overview The Kenesaw United Child Care Coalition (KUCCC) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Nebraska, committed to providing quality, accessible, and compassionate child care options for the Kenesaw community. Our mission is to foster a nurturing environment that supports the growth and development of young children. Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at KUCCC. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational experiences of young children in our care. Your passion for early childhood education will help create a positive learning environment that promotes development and learning. Responsibilities Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of young children. Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience. Maintain records of children's progress and development as required. Requirements Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential A high school diploma or equivalent is required. CDA, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs.
