In this dynamic role, you will lead the development of infants' early skills, create a warm and engaging classroom environment, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth. Your expertise in childhood development and dedication to providing high-quality care will inspire both children and colleagues alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of young children in a supportive and energetic setting. Duties Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant care, including feeding, diapering, tummy time, and sensory exploration Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development milestones Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, socialization, and emotional security Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental achievements regularly Collaborate with families through ongoing communication about their child's needs, milestones, and daily experiences Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere that supports learning through play Skills Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive interactions among children Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Experience with caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, toddler care, and developmental assessments Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and safety protocols efficiently Join us as a Lead Infant Teacher to nurture young minds during their most formative years!
