Job Summary We are looking for an experienced, dependable Early Childhood Teacher who is comfortable working with children of all ages, from infants through Pre-K . While flexibility throughout the center is important, strong infant-room experience is especially important for this position . We are looking for someone who understands that successfully running an infant classroom requires a specific skill set, including managing multiple feeding and sleeping schedules, recognizing infant cues, maintaining consistent routines, communicating closely with families, and keeping the classroom calm, safe, organized, and nurturing. The right candidate will be confident working independently, able to take initiative, and comfortable stepping into different classrooms as needed. Responsibilities Provide nurturing, attentive care for children from infancy through Pre-K. Confidently manage the daily routines of an infant classroom. Follow and maintain individual infant feeding, bottle, diapering, and sleep schedules. Recognize infant cues and respond appropriately to individual needs. Safely prepare, warm, serve, and document bottles and feedings according to center procedures. Maintain accurate records of feedings, diapering, naps, and other daily care. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and calm classroom environment. Complete frequent headcounts and maintain active supervision at all times. Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences. Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior-management strategies. Communicate professionally and consistently with families about their child's day. Work cooperatively with co-teachers, administration, and other classrooms. Step into different age groups and adapt to each classroom's routines when needed. Qualifications Previous hands-on infant classroom experience strongly preferred. Experience caring for multiple infants with different feeding and sleeping schedules. Comfortable working with children of all ages, infants through Pre-K. Knowledge of safe infant sleep practices and appropriate infant care. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Able to remain calm and organized in a busy classroom environment. Strong communication skills with children, families, and coworkers. A genuine interest in early childhood development and providing high-quality care.

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
