  • We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Young Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 12-24 months.
The ideal candidate will support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities, positive interactions, and responsive caregiving.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Supervise and care for young toddlers while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and center policies. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration, learning, and growth. Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and nurturing interactions. Assist children with daily routines, including diapering, toileting, feeding, handwashing, and rest time. Observe and document children's progress, milestones, and developmental needs. Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's daily activities, achievements, and concerns. Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support program goals and classroom success. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Early Childhood Education coursework, CDA, or degree. Experience working with infants or toddlers preferred. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
