Our school is play based and inspired by Reggio Emilia and values high quality early childhood education. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that honors developmentally appropriate practices while encouraging curiosity and learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth while working within a supportive team committed to excellence in early childhood education. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging provocations tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschool-aged children. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and social-emotional growth. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support individual student needs. Conduct assessments to monitor progress of children and inform instructional strategies. Adhere to state rules regarding early childhood education and health and safety of children in the classroom. Preferred Qualifications Background in early childhood education or experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired curricula or other play-based learning approaches. Strong understanding of schemas and childhood developmental principles Familiarity with integrating arts, music, and nature into daily learning activities. Proficiency in using observation, documentation, and assessment skills to track child development. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
