A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide loving, attentive care and supervision Keep children safe, happy, and engaged Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities Support children's social, emotional, and educational development Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment Use positive behavior guidance and classroom management Maintain a clean and organized classroom Communicate with parents, teachers, and administration professionally Work together with your classroom team Follow all center policies, procedures, and safety requirements
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous childcare, preschool, teaching, or educational experience preferred Knowledge of early childhood development is a plus Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to create fun and engaging activities CPR & First Aid certification preferred Don't have CPR/First Aid? That's okay!
WE PROVIDE TRAINING!
Early Childhood Education coursework or a degree is a plus, but we are also interested in candidates with strong childcare experience and a genuine passion for working with children.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
ALL applicants must be able to successfully pass required Child Abuse and Criminal History Background Checks. Reliability is extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who understands that being on time, showing up consistently, and being someone your team can count on matters!
