Position Overview:

We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and engaging Preschool Summer Camp Teacher to work with children ages 3-5. This role focuses on implementing structured lesson plans, supporting social-emotional development, and creating a fun, safe, and educational summer experience. Class size is approximately 15 students .

Responsibilities:

Implement and follow lesson plans using Creative Curriculum Use Teaching Strategies GOLD to support child development (if applicable) Utilize Tadpoles for daily communication, documentation, and reporting Supervise and actively engage children throughout the day Support social-emotional development using positive guidance techniques Manage classroom routines including circle time, centers, meals, and transitions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Communicate effectively with families and staff Ensure all licensing and program policies are followed

Qualifications:

Valid Teacher Certification or Substitute Teacher Certification (REQUIRED) CPR and First Aid Certification (required or must be completed prior to start date) Experience working with preschool-aged children (3-5 years old) Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and/or Teaching Strategies GOLD preferred Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills Ability to implement structured routines and lesson plans Comfortable using technology and apps such as Tadpoles Patient, nurturing, and professional demeanor

Preferred Candidate Qualities:

Passion for working with young children and supporting early learning Experience in early childhood education settings Creativity in planning engaging activities (art, sensory, literacy, and play-based learning) Ability to manage a classroom of 15 children effectively
