We are looking for friendly, patient, energetic, and professional teachers who can create a fun and positive learning environment for beginner students. The ideal candidate has experience teaching children, strong communication skills, and a warm personality that helps students feel comfortable and excited about music lessons. Experience with beginner piano and vocal instruction is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and document lesson plans to engage students. Communicate with parents after lessons. Create an encouraging and fun environment. Be visible and accessible to students and parents.

QUALIFICATION

Ability to teach Piano, Guitar or Vocal. (Not Required, but is a Plus) Multi-instrumentalists (Not Required, but is a Plus) Speak Spanish 4 + years experience teaching and or performing music professionally Knowledge of music theory Computer knowledge needed Good social skills Excellent Time-Management Skills Strong organizational skills Lives close by the location (can easily commute to Elizabeth NJ, no more than 20 minutes) Must pass background screening before training Available teaching shifts are between Monday to Fridays from 3:00 pm to 9:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Flexible schedule Application Question(s): Do you live close to the location? Can you easily commute to Elizabeth NJ in no more than 20 minutes? Based on our business hours (Monday to Fridays 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm), are you available to teach at least 3 full days per week? The starting salary is $20 per hour, then we go up to $28 based on performance. Is it something you are interested in? Are you comfortable teaching young children ages 5-7?
