Job Description

This position is a 12-6pm position. Ideally to support staff and fill in for teacher lunch breaks, and cover the school aged after school program. The Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care system has been preparing young minds for future success since its founding in 1981. With more than 270 independently owned franchises throughout the United States, Kiddie Academy provides quality educational child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our Life Essentials curriculum focuses on activity-based, hands-on learning that makes it fun for children and teachers. We believe that nurturing a lifelong love of learning is an asset that children can carry from our Academies into their homes and communities. As our school continues to grow, Kiddie Academy of Marlton is currently hiring full and part time Teachers and Assistant Teachers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Candidates must have previous teaching experience, in a group care setting preferred. Individuals will provide classroom leadership as they strive to manage a program that exceeds organizational standards, NAEYC guidelines, and corporate expectations. Supervises children during all activities. Counsel children when social, academic or adjustment problems arise. Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children. Schedules and conducts parent and teacher conferences throughout the year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with children preferred. Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis to at least waist high. Candidates must meet all licensing qualifications for State of New Jersey and possess proper qualifications and certifications. If you are interested in joining our team, please forward your resume.
