This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational learning experiences of our youngest learners while collaborating with staff, families, and community partners. Help share your knowledge with the staff and assist with curriculum. Eligible to become permanent. Duties Lead classroom instruction by implementing dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Develop and continually refine curriculum materials that support childhood development milestones and cater to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, organization, and positive behavior management through effective classroom management techniques. Supervise and mentor teaching staff and assistants to promote professional growth and maintain high-quality childcare standards. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school partnerships. Oversee daily childcare routines such as toddler care activities, diapering, feeding, and outdoor play while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and tailor instructional approaches accordingly. Requirements Proven experience in preschool teaching or early childhood education with a strong background in classroom management and lesson planning. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and special education accommodations. Prior experience working with children of various ages in daycare or private school settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or a related field; additional training in early intervention or child welfare is a plus. Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a positive learning environment that emphasizes child welfare and inclusive practices.
