Floater and Substitute Preschool Teacher - As Needed

For this position, we are looking for a floater to help out in our classrooms for a few hours each day, as well as an as needed substitute teacher for the full day when a teacher is absent. Floater will assist teachers in every day activities and tasks. Substitute will carry out lessons left by absent teacher/director. Responsibilities also include diapering, cleaning, reading, preparing lesson plans, activities, and projects based on weekly themes, and fostering a fun, safe environment for staff and children. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Must be able to lead classroom and encourage a comfortable and safe environment for children. Must show leadership abilities. Must be able to multitask, stay organized, and follow all state guidelines. Experience required, college credits, CDA/equivalent preferred.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL ARE ESSENTIAL TO THIS POSITION.

Hours will vary based upon the day, but may be as early as 7:30am and could be half or full day depending on the need for the day.
