At Kaplan, every teacher is a vital part of the team. As an Assistant Teacher, you'll be a warm, nurturing, and dependable presence in the classroom. You will be key in creating the safe, joyful, and engaging environment for young children that we take pride in. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support children's learning, care, and daily routines while fully participating in classroom life and curriculum.
Requirements:
Degree and experience Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Associate's Degree in combination with at least 1 year of experience in early childhood classrooms will also be considered. Able to lift 40lbs, walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children's safety and wellbeing. Good communication and instructional skills Reliability and professionalism Ability to integrate feedback into teaching practice Ability to collaborate with and support other teachers and administrators.
