Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher who is fluent in Spanish to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the growth, development, and well-being of young children. Your passion for teaching and ability to connect with children will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional skills, and support foundational learning experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and social skills, aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among preschool children. Engage children in activities that promote language development in both Spanish and English, including storytelling, singing, and interactive play. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space. Collaborate with families to discuss children's progress, address concerns, and support their child's development at home. Incorporate special education principles and early intervention strategies when working with children who require additional support. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student assessments, attendance, and developmental milestones. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Experience with curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children across diverse learning needs. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Experience working with toddlers or in daycare settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of Montessori methods or standardized testing approaches is a plus for enriching classroom activities. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
