Job Description

KinderCare is seeking passionate Teachers for our Jackson Township learning center. In this role, you'll nurture young children through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, and academic growth. You will design playful lessons, maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, and build strong relationships with families. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood standards Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Supervise children to ensure safety and wellbeing at all times Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom activities Observe and document children's developmental milestones Support social-emotional learning and positive behavior management Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning space Collaborate with center staff to implement center-wide programs and events Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations Participate in ongoing training and professional development Required Skills Early childhood classroom management Lesson and activity planning Knowledge of child development and milestones Child supervision and safety practices Parent and family communication Documentation and observation of child progress Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Basic computer skills for records and communication Time management and organization Understanding of childcare licensing and regulations
