In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with child supervision, and contribute to the overall well-being and development of children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and engagement Assist lead teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing age-appropriate educational activities Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and behavior management techniques Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and safety Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, following established health protocols Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social skills Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to perform child supervision confidently while maintaining a lively yet safe environment Certifications in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or child safety are highly desirable Experience with infant care, toddler care, or nannying is beneficial for supporting diverse age groups patience to work with students of all abilities This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to contribute to the growth and happiness of young children while developing their career in early childhood education.
