Job Description
KinderCare is seeking a Teacher for the Long Branch Child Care Enrichment Program within our Educational Services network. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom that supports each child's social, emotional, and academic development. You will design and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities, maintain strong communication with families, and uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards. Responsibilities Create and deliver developmentally appropriate, engaging daily lessons and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth. Supervise children at all times, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and licensing standards. Observe and document children's progress, communicating regularly with families about milestones and concerns. Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide events, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds. Support children's positive behavior through guidance, redirection, and consistent routines. Participate in professional development and ongoing training offered by Kinder Care. Prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and enrichment activities. Follow Kinder Care policies, state regulations, and reporting procedures.
