Job Description

Preschool Teacher - Toddler Classroom (Ages 2 1/2-3 1/2) We are looking for a warm, energetic, and organized Preschool Teacher to join our toddler classroom! This classroom serves children ages 2 who will be turning 3 during the school year. The ideal candidate is positive, personable, and able to manage a busy classroom while creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment while preparing children for their transition to our Pre-K program.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay Range:
$17-$18 per hour (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:
Manage daily classroom routines, schedules, and transitions Create a safe, fun, and structured learning environment Help prepare children for the transition to the upstairs Pre-K classroom Support early learning skills such as recognizing their names, proper pencil grip, and beginning writing skills Assist children with learning how to use scissors safely and appropriately Support potty training and work closely with families to help children become fully potty trained before the end of the school year/summer Support children's social, emotional, and academic development Maintain an organized classroom and lesson planning materials Communicate professionally with families and coworkers Follow all state licensing and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a preschool, daycare, toddler classroom, or summer camp preferred Strong classroom management skills High energy, dependable, and a team-player attitude Organized and personable CDA preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is willing to obtain their CDA Looking for someone interested in a long-term position (not seasonal or summer-only) This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to grow with a supportive team long term while helping young learners build the skills they need for their next classroom. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
