Job Description

Teachers who are not familiar with Waldorf education will be supported through the training and professional development needed to deliver our carefully crafted curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child Early Childhood Teacher The Waldorf School of Princeton is looking for an Early Childhood teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-27 school year. Ideal candidates have Early Childhood teaching experience, an understanding of Waldorf pedagogy, the ability to communicate the pedagogy of Waldorf education to parents, and serve the needs and safety of the school community. JOB DESCRIPTION EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER
Primary Function:
To teach nursery/kindergarten classes and provide a gateway for parents to Waldorf Education and The Waldorf School of Princeton.
Skills:
Teaching and caring for Early Childhood students in a school setting, understanding of Early Childhood Waldorf pedagogy, ability to communicate the pedagogy of Waldorf education to parents, ability to serve the needs of the whole school community.
Training:
Waldorf Teacher Certification preferred, or willingness to attend training
