A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

Help infants develop their fine motor skills. Maintain feeding, sleeping, and diaper changing schedules. Implement a curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development. Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication. Uphold the rules and regulations of Lightbridge Academy and governmental regulatory agencies about children's care, health, and safety. Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team. Support an engaging work environment by learning, collaborating, and building co-worker relationships.
