Job Description
About This Role The Learning Gate is seeking passionate and dedicated Toddler Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young students and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where our toddlers can flourish and achieve age-appropriate milestones. Develop positive relationships with the children and their parents, the teacher observes and documents children's interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff. Great opportunity for those who are returning to the workforce. This is a year round position. What You'll Do Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for Toddlers. Ensure the implementation of curricula activities and daily care of children Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials. Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding assessments, students, families, staff and center information. Requirements Must be 18 year or older High School diploma or higher Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices preferred. Experience working with Toddlers. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must clear full background check & health screening and be able to lift 40 lbs. High energy Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
