Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher with early childhood development preschool teaching experience and excellent classroom skills. The ideal candidate will be motivated and prepared to become a key member of our growing team and has an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood development or an associate's or bachelor's degree with the required early childhood development credits. Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (with some flexibility). Responsibilities and Duties Key Job Responsibilities/ Essential Functions for
Lead Teachers:
Energetic engagement and communication with individual children while teaching Interact frequently and respectfully with children and parents/guardians Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on our curriculum and learning goals to prepare children for Kindergarten Create a dynamic, fun, creative, and interactive classroom experience Regular and consistent parent/guardian communication in person and in writing electronically Follow all safety and health rules Keep the environment safe, clean and attractive. Participate actively with the teaching team through communication Positive and participative team player with fellow teachers, director, and owners
Qualifications and Skills Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements:
1+ year prior experience in a licensed childcare setting Superior skills in creating a dynamic, interactive classroom experience CPR & First Aid and Food Safety Certifications (Preferred) Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Psychology or related field OR proof of current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Associate's or CDA Credentialing Program (Preferred)

From $16.50 per hour Application Question(s): This position requires a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Are you able to commit to this schedule without regular scheduling conflicts? Do you have reliable transportation to and from work each day? Have you previously worked as a Lead Teacher? If so, please expand on what you would do on a day to day basis. This position requires sitting on the floor, lifting up to 40 lbs., and actively engaging with children throughout the day.
