KinderCare's Roseland Child Development Center seeks a Specialized Pre-K Teacher to design and lead inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. In this on-site role, you'll create a safe, nurturing classroom that supports diverse learning and developmental needs, using observation and assessment to tailor instruction. You'll partner closely with families, therapists, and colleagues, contribute to program planning, and engage in ongoing professional growth within KinderCare's collaborative, learning-focused culture. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, specialized Pre-K lessons aligned with early learning standards. Differentiate instruction and supports for children with diverse learning and developmental needs. Observe, assess, and document children's growth to inform individualized learning plans. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional skills. Collaborate with families, therapists, and support staff to coordinate learning goals and services. Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication logs for each child. Implement behavior guidance strategies that foster positive interactions and self-regulation. Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings. Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations. Contribute to center-wide events and initiatives that support family engagement and community building.
