Employee discounts Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Job Summary VIP Child Development Center is seeking a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants (ages 6 weeks to 18 months), supporting their developmental milestones, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Provide attentive, high-quality care for infants in accordance with state licensing and center policies. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Monitor and record developmental milestones and daily routines (feeding, sleeping, diapering). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child's daily progress and well-being. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and professional work environment. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and required certifications as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must meet state licensing requirements for background checks and clearances. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play. Full-time or Part-time position available
