Job Description
Hilltop Nursery School is in Need of a Professional Infant Teacher/Caregiver We are looking to grow our staff with professional and experienced individual(s) who:
- Enjoy helping children learn and grow through nurturing and positive experiences.
- Are reliable, upbeat, positive, trustworthy, and independent.
- Want to be part of a professional team and work with others towards achieving our school goals.
- Are willing to attend trainings to further their knowledge and education about all of the areas of child development and meet regulations in our industry. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Writing and implementation of age appropriate lesson plans.
- Providing adequate and thorough supervision of the children and their actions.
- Recording and communicating daily care given to children including diapering, mealtime, and other activities.
- Tracking students development and educational progress.
- Providing healthy and safe custodial care (toileting, diapering, meal times, rest time, etc.) that abide state and national standards.
- Communicating with co-workers and work with them to help classrooms run smoothly.
- Help with cleaning duties to ensure a healthy learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a licensed child care facility is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain as our school offers classes regularly).
- Ability to pass all required background checks and be fingerprinted.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
