Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster literacy, numeracy, social skills, and creativity, including specialized programs such as Montessori and early intervention strategies. Plan engaging lesson activities that support childhood development milestones across various domains including physical education, behavior management, and classroom management. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction while maintaining a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage classroom dynamics effectively by applying behavior management techniques and ensuring a positive atmosphere for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to design individualized learning plans for children with special education needs or requiring additional support. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to inform instruction and communicate growth with families. Foster strong communication skills with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's development and classroom activities. Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education. Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, with knowledge of childhood development principles. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create an organized, safe learning environment conducive to student engagement. Background in private school or daycare environments is preferred; Montessori training or certification is a plus. Strong communication skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with students and families alike.
