Job Description

Our school is growing, and we're excited to expand our teaching team! We are seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to join us in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. At The Learning Experience, our teachers are ambassadors of happiness, making a positive difference in the lives of children, their families, and the community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys inspiring a love of learning.
Role Responsibilities:
Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® through age-appropriate learning activities. Encourage children's development through play, fine and gross motor activities, early literacy, and number recognition. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress. Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth afternoon classroom routine. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children preferred. High school diploma or GED required; coursework or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Must meet all state licensing requirements for the position. Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic with a passion for working with young children.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM Part-time position (20 hours per week)

From $16.00 per hour
