Job Description
KinderCare seeks a Senior Teacher for our Wayne learning center to lead high-quality early childhood classrooms. In this role, you will design engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons, guide daily routines, and foster a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe and inspired to explore. You will observe and document children's progress, partner closely with families, and mentor assistant teachers. As part of KinderCare's collaborative culture, you'll help shape curriculum, support continuous improvement, and grow your career in early childhood education. Responsibilities Design and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards. Lead classroom instruction, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Observe and assess children's developmental progress and document outcomes. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and classroom activities. Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom staff. Maintain compliance with center policies and state licensing regulations. Collaborate with center leadership to enhance curriculum and learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques.
