Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have daycare experience, a love for working with young children, and either hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or be in the process of obtaining one.

Create hands-on learning experiences through play-based activities Explore themes like seasons, holidays, and nature Encourage creativity through arts & crafts, music, and movement Support early literacy, counting, and fine motor skill development Spend time outdoors enjoying fresh air and active play Build strong relationships with families and maintain open communication

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Maintain daily communication with parents, including updates on meals, naps, and activities Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and staff Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications:

Previous daycare or childcare experience required CDA credential (or currently enrolled in a CDA program) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, responsible, and nurturing personality Passion for early childhood education
