In this dynamic role, you will support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and collaborative teamwork. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and early learning principles Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety at all times Support children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene while maintaining a clean and organized environment Engage children in educational play that promotes social skills, creativity, and cognitive growth Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs to foster strong partnerships Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to ensure preparedness for emergencies Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices is essential Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a valuable asset Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members in a professional manner Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood development and safety protocols is advantageous Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers will enhance your ability to support diverse age groups within the classroom Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for nurturing young minds makes a lasting difference! Pay:
