Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre K Closing Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will step into a dynamic classroom environment, providing engaging and nurturing instruction to young learners in the closing hours. Responsibilities Implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring continuity of learning activities for preschool-aged children Foster a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, curiosity, and independence Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Support children's developmental needs by facilitating activities focused on literacy, math, early childhood education principles, and sensory play Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lesson plans for individual needs, including working with children with autism or special education requirements Qualifications Prior experience working with preschool children or in early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Strong communication skills to engage effectively with young children, parents, and team members Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom safety protocols Background in childcare, literacy education, math instruction, or Montessori methods is a plus Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and working with individuals with diverse needs Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not required Pass a background check Join us to inspire young minds through energetic teaching and compassionate care!
