Non-exempt / Full-timePosition OverviewAs a member of the Defined Fitness Play Team, you will be part of a community of difference makers, movers and shakers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our team members and members. The Play Team Member is responsible for interacting with and ensuring the safety of the children while club members are using the facility. You are responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children. You are to come up with creative and educational activities, while maintaining a clean environment for the children and demonstrating the following qualities:

Attentive and dedicatedTeam-oriented with compassionate characteristicsAdaptable and flexible Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAlways ensure childrens safetyEncourage a healthy active lifestyle through appropriate play, games and interactionMaintain a clean, sanitized and healthy environment Clean toys, play area, restrooms, etc. dailyInteract/greet children by name and comfort them throughout their visit Interact/greet with parents/caregivers by name and give feedback on childrens behaviorMaintain patience and common sense with children in the facility Ability to mediate and manage conflict effectively among children Initiate parent paging, when necessaryDocument and report basic incidents in writing Ensure parents complete all necessary paperwork according to procedures Diligently monitor child drop off and pick up
