Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with children, and expertise in curriculum development. This role involves fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities and effective classroom management. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in supporting children's growth and preparing them for future academic success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with educational standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and child welfare. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and respect. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress through observation and standardized testing when applicable. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Facilitate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and physical development such as toddler care and classroom games. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to plan school-wide events, curriculum enhancements, and professional development initiatives. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is recommended. Demonstrated expertise in childhood development, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and special education techniques such as early intervention. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Previous experience in teaching physical education or implementing lesson plans focused on child welfare is preferred. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
