Daycare Teacher - Horizon

Our Daycare is looking for Daycare Teachers who are kind, energetic, and have integrity. Our caregivers want to guide the destiny of a generation and do the most good for the most children. We have opportunities for you to nurture beautiful infants, loving toddlers, curious preschoolers, or excited school-agers

Responsibilities Include:

Supervising and engaging school-age children Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities Assisting with homework as needed Safely transporting children for school pick-up/drop-off and field trips Maintaining a safe, positive, and structured environment

Job Essentials:

Ability to perform First Aid and CPR (with training) Ability to detect dangerous situations for children in groups. Ability to immediately run and retrieve a child who runs out of a door. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Ability to make quick, sound decisions concerning a child's safety. Ability to stay awake and alert for the duration of a workday. Ability to drive a vehicle (if required by the job you are applying for) safely and effectively without impairment. Ability to provide an environment that is physically, mentally, and emotionally safe and stable for the children in our care. Pay and Benefits. •

Pay:

Our pay rates are competitive with the industry, and there are opportunities for bonuses and pay increases throughout the year. The pay rate depends on each applicant's experience and other factors. (Child Care needs, full or part-time, shift availability, etc.) We also offer paid holiday and accrued Paid Time Off.
