Role:

Henderson Christian Academy in Henderson, NV is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the foundation of early childhood education in a faith-based environment where every child is valued and celebrated.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum and daily lesson plans Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment aligned with Christian values Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities Supervise and mentor classroom aides and assistant teachers Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and developmental documentation Collaborate with school administration and staff to support school-wide goals and events

Requirements:

Previous experience in a lead teacher role in a Pre-K or early childhood setting Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood learning standards Strong classroom management and communication skills Alignment with Christian faith and values; commitment to faith-based education CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
