Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. This role involves leading a classroom of young learners, implementing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love for learning through various educational activities. The Lead Teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the overall well-being and development of each child. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Provide physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using behavior management techniques to guide student interactions. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress in literacy education and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Ensure the safety and welfare of all students in the classroom setting. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides as needed. Skills Strong background in preschool education, including toddler care techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in literacy education strategies to support early reading and writing skills. Knowledge of early intervention practices to assist children with diverse learning needs. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Experience in behavior management techniques to foster a respectful classroom environment. Commitment to child welfare principles ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students. Creativity in curriculum development that inspires curiosity and a love for learning among children.
